8 days trip in sarawak-Day 1

I have a wonderful and memorable trip in Sarawak, not only because of the interesting places i have been to, but also a gang of friends that have made our trip a really 'super trip'!

Our team consisted of only 4 persons , not including friends that joined us in Sarawak. A long story to tell about the weird team we have formed. 1 is my junior,zhiyen-who started of saying to have a trip to Sarawak , then I invited the top student plus talented guy ,Choon fu in my class who has the same interest to join. At last Sharene joined us without thinking much, so it was how our team was formed, not a good friends team, but I can tell really a good team to make after the trip,haha...

1st day

We arrived at Kuching early 9am in the morning and headed to our breakfast by our 'driver' -Su ee, my junior (Actually he just arrived 7 8 hours before us). We had our first try on Sarawak Laksa, a slight thicker bihun plus brown color sup taste like Kari in Ipoh, but the taste is not as thick as us one. And a cup of mint tea. After that we visited the state museum and tour a bit around the city in car before we had our lunch-'cha siew fan'. Know what, the cha siew really taste super nice , even person like me that dun eat pork also had a lot, we wonder whether the pig reared in Sarawak is more delicious ,haha...(just like what I always Thai and Indon 's pork is 100x more tastier than M'sia one)

Under the terribly hot sun, we went to waterfront, which is a famous spot for tourists especially at night .

We took a boat to the opposite river side. Oops..it was actually a sampan, the ordinaly type which charged us only RM0.50.

We walked in a kampung road, climbing up,sweating profusely to reach Fort Margarita,a historical place.

For tea time, we have ice kacang at a famous spot,together with Belacan Mee and their rojak.

The name of the drinks are so cute, we have 'xue shan fei wu', 'metahong' , 'playboy', gorekgoshtan' etc. 5 of us ordered 10 drinks, really too exhausted,haha..

At night, we stayed at XXX B&B (Bed & Breakfast). Before dinner, we walked to the Tua Peh Kong nearby.

We had a tour in the State Library before we had our dinner. It was really amazing.It was the most beautiful library that I have seen in M'sia, a very large one, with a lake beside, running path,garden, nicely designed building, a perfect place for dating,haha...

Subsequently, we have Mee Kolok, the typical Sarawak mee and fried kuai for dinner. The fried got 2 tastes ,sweet and salty one.( All the pictures of food with my friends, so can't upload here)

For supper, we had mee daging and hot lady before we proceeded to a place that is full of sentiment and we missed it so much- Isabella.

Actually the light there is quite dim, some of the seats are under the mosquitoes net...the pictures din seem that nice as what I describe,haha....
